The fastest way to reach me is email:

linecheck@docsanddeadlines.com

I read everything. I reply to most things within a few days, though it can take longer during busy weeks.

What I'd especially like to hear about

Corrections. If a fee name, a monthly charge, a data allowance, an equipment return window, a complaint portal screen, or a challenge form in one of these guides no longer matches what you ran into, please tell me — ideally with the wording your bill or the website actually used. Providers rename fees and rework portals constantly, and a reader in the middle of it finds the change months before I re-check an article. Corrections get applied and the article's "updated" date is bumped.

Gaps. If you searched for something about your existing service — a charge you cannot identify, a transfer that stranded you for a week, a fixed wireless address that qualified and then un-qualified — and every result was a sign-up page ranking providers, that is exactly the kind of thing worth writing up. Tell me the words you searched, too; they usually make a better title than anything I would have chosen.

What actually happened when you escalated. Which step got a response, how long it took, and what the provider did once a complaint was filed. Outcomes are the hardest thing to research from the outside and the most useful thing to publish, and they are recorded here in general terms — never with your name, address, or account number.

What I can't help with

  • Looking up what is available at your address, or telling you which provider to buy
  • Reviewing your bill, contract, or speed logs, or predicting whether a complaint or a challenge will succeed
  • Legal or regulatory advice, or dealing with a provider, landlord, or agency on your behalf
  • Technical support for your router, mesh system, or in-home wiring — I cannot troubleshoot your network remotely
  • Referrals to providers, resellers, or "we cut your bill" negotiation services, and requests for affiliate or referral placement of any kind
  • Requests to publish sponsored posts, paid guest articles, or link insertions

Please do not send account numbers, service passwords or PINs, full bill scans, or copies of photo ID. I do not need them to fix a page, and I would rather not hold them. If you are describing a situation, describe it in general terms and black out the identifiers.
